Chris spent his youth splitting his weekend time between Belmore Sports Ground and Kogarah Oval while playing junior district footy with “more enthusiasm than talent”. His memory highlights included many trips to the SCG for Match of the Round, Finals and Test Matches in addition to the Belmore and Kogarah trips as a young boy with mates, arriving in time to see what was then the 3rd Grade game.
Chris moved to Brisbane in the mid 1990s and has developed and led business teams, particularly in Logistics and Naval Warship Support, across Australia and Asia/Pacific. Chris built & led the teams that first established the Logistical structure to support the Royal Australian Navy around Australia/Asia/Pacific and the United States Navy in Australia and Singapore including in the immediate aftermath of 9/11. This involved being responsible for the safety of tens of thousands of personnel and the leadership of thousands of people.
Chris is currently a Director of companies in Logistics, Emergency Services, Mining Services and Property as well as continuing to support the US Navy ships in Australia.
Chris joined the Brisbane Bombers NRL Consortium in 2012 as a Director and shareholder and has been a driving force in the development of Strategy, Bid Presentation and Corporate Governance.
